Purple Line Ltd has set the royal standard in a new era within the recreational leisure industry by being honoured with the first ever King’s Award for Enterprise. Purple Line Ltd is one of only 148 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in 2023.

Announced today (Friday 21 April), the Suffolk based business has been awarded for its excellence in international trade. Product ranges from Purple Line Ltd include Quattro caravan motor movers, FullStop security products and the OPUS self-inflating camper.

Purple Line Ltd was founded by Managing Director, Jonathan Harrison in 2002. With the aim of transforming the leisure vehicle accessory market with a design and consumer led philosophy. Since inception, they have received a wide range of internationally recognised awards for product design, innovation, and consumer satisfaction. In addition, numerous national TV appearances have contributed to the continued success of their ‘OPUS’ inflatable camping trailer. Purple Line Ltd employ over 20 dedicated and passionate staff

and encompass all aspects of running the business in-house from sales to procurement and marketing to manufacturing. Purple Line Ltd operates from 3 sites, including a main office, distribution centre and manufacturing facility at their Suffolk based headquarters in Wherstead.

The King’s Awards for Enterprise was previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, and the new name reflects His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The Award programme, now in its 57th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
