Details of this Product:-
Purple Line Limited t/a OPUS Camper (the manufacturer) are offering and supplying this purchasable, extended warranty (also referred herein as ‘product’). This is available for purchase on new All-Road and Off-Road Models exclusively, for up to 30 days from receipt of product.
The Extended Warranty is only valid if the purchaser registers their OPUS Camper www.purpleline.co.uk/product-registration/ within 14 days of ownership (either collection of the new OPUS Camper or date of Extended Warranty purchase, if purchased separately).
Your OPUS comprises the strongest and most durable components which are constructed with loving-care at our workshops in Suffolk. As such, the OPUS enjoys an unrivalled reputation for quality and durability, as indicated by the multiple customer-satisfaction awards and complimentary owner reviews.
In fact, we have such confidence in the integrity and quality of the structure, we have compiled an extended 4-year purchasable warranty for the trailer section and the chassis upon which it stands. We warrant that it will be free from defect or failure and trust this will provide you the reassurance you may need to join our exclusive band of owners.
Items covered by Warranty:-
This Warranty applies only to the structure of the trailer, namely:-
- Coloured Trailer ‘Tub’ with Lids and the integral components essential to its construction (i.e. structural-steel framework, brackets, panels, ribs, door, locker, trays and guards).
- Structural Sub-Frame and Wooden Flooring.
- Chassis (including Axle), Handbrake, Wheels, and Hitch Coupling.
Items NOT covered by Warranty:-
- Fixtures and Fittings (internal or external) added to structure post-build (such as cleats, latches, hinges, OEM additions, battery boxes, external sockets, carriers, mover assembly parts, corner steadies, support arms, locks, holders, hinges, gas struts, pins, rails, covers etc.)
- Sealants, Perishables, Rubber Seals and Decals
- Electrical, Gas, Light Fittings, Number Plate, and Spare Wheel fittings.
- Wearing products such as Brakes, Bearings, Tyres, Jockey Wheels, Breakaway Cables and normal consumable items.
Scope of Warranty:-
- Material or construction defects, fatigue, or failure to perform function correctly of only those items covered under this agreement, on each new OPUS.
- This extended warranty offering covers a period of 48 months from the date of expiry of the existing 12-month warranty which is provided free of charge at the point of purchase.
- All covered equipment will be repaired or replaced at OPUS’s discretion and cost (including parts and labour), provided such equipment is returned at the customer’s expense to the OPUS facility in Suffolk or a repair facility pre-approved by OPUS in writing, and subject to the exclusion listed herein.
- Normal operating conditions apply only.
- Subject to Owner’s registration process as documented on the OPUS website and in the Owner’s Manual.
Outside the Scope of Warranty:-
Claims will not be considered if resulting from the following conditions:-
- Abuse (whether intentional or not), alteration, modifications, variances, misuse (including use of the Product after any damage or defect has been or should have been identified by a Purchaser).
- Commercial usage, rental or loans (even with the approval of the owner).
- Extraordinary usage such as in extreme weather or prolonged outdoor usage.
- Operation at speeds exceeding trailer capabilities or posted legal limits.
- Non-conformity with the Operator’s Manual.
- Overloading beyond rated capacity or exceeding concentrated load ratings.
- Non-conforming or non-compliant parts.
- Natural calamities, theft, vandalism, collision, flood, road traffic accidents, or improper site conditions.
- Improper storage, improper maintenance (even under the supervision of suitably qualified persons and documented by such), repair, or illegal use.
- Damage resulting from impact of the trailer with the ground.
- Submersion either partially or completely in natural environments, storage or flooding.
- Scratching or chipping on surfaces caused by normal wear and tear, and road use.
- Water ingress to the wooden floor resulting from drilling or penetration for approved or non-approved parts, spillages or water leak due to internal component failure.
- Damage from abrasive polishes, cleaning equipment, acids, alkaline, heavy-duty pressure washing or other chemicals that compromise manufactured surfaces.
- Consequential losses, recovery or forward travel expenses.
Please note the following are also not considered ‘defects’ or failure of protective surfaces:
- Staining, Discoloration or Dulling of Galvanized Steel.
- Oxidation/Rust Staining.
- Surface Contamination.
- Weld Seepage (appearance of rust stains at welded joints, hinges or tub entry points).
- Swarf Contamination.
- Timber Staining.
- Water Staining (on galvanized metal or painted surfaces).
- Bi-Metallic Galvanic Corrosion (stainless steel and galvanized steel in contact).
- Fading, marks or chips on Painted (including internal and external coloured panels) or Powder-Coated surfaces.
Terms of Warranty:-
This product is offered as a purchasable option in addition to the manufacturer’s standard warranty (which is free of charge) and does not replace a consumer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Your statutory rights are not affected.
The customer is welcome to research and procure alternative coverage from another provider (which may be available), if they so wish.
The purchaser has a right to cancel this product after purchase. This must be undertaken in writing to OPUS within 14 days of purchase of the product.

In the unlikely event that you need to make a claim, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased your OPUS in the first instance. They will liaise directly with OPUS to resolve the issue.
